For our new Sensor Factory, we are looking for a global Quality Engineer, located in Apodaca (Monterrey).
Danfoss Sensing Solutions (SEN) is represented in Nordborg (DK) and has manufacturing locations in Minden (DE) and Wuqing (CN). As of 2025 we are opening two new sensor assembly lines in a new production building at our Danfoss Campus in Monterrey (MX).
The scope of this new Quality Engineer role is to execute and drive quality tasks related to our new Sensor Factory. This position is an expansion of the current team and will be embedded in the global Quality & EHS team of SEN.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ramping up our sensor production in a new building on the Danfoss Campus.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Contribute to the qualification and run-in of the new manufacturing equipment (acceptance tests, pilot production runs and alike) Contribute to handling customer requests such as product qualification (APQP/PPAP), complaints, visits/audits, or any quality-related documentation Contribute to the qualification of parts and materials at existing or new suppliers for the sensor manufacturing (APQP/PPAP) Resolve production- or supplier-related quality topics such as non-conformities and at the same time focus on detection and mitigation of risks Run continuous improvement activities and participate in relevant projects Assure the deployment of our QEHS System processes and tools, including but not limited to, conducting internal audits, and coaching the local team Background & SkillsAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. Bachelor´s degree in mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education (technician) and experience 3+ years’ experience in quality area, ideally combined with (technical) background in industrial production, e.g., electronic or mechatronic products Experience in quality core tools (e.g., from IATF 16949) and 8D methodology Being a certified auditor according to ISO 9001 (and IATF 16949) is a plus Ability to communicate fact-based and appropriate to internal and external management levels Ability to work self-driven in a cross-functional, global team environment across time zones Management skills such as change management, coaching, team facilitation, analytical problem-solving, and business acumen Strengths in persistence and structured work methods Proficiency in MS Office tools, preferably knowledge of SAP Very good communication skills in English Knowledge of and experience with market segments such as HVAC/R, Mobile Hydraulics, Marine or Industrial Engines would be a plus Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:
