Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for applying quality system elements to achieve and continuously improve quality objectives. You will ensure compliance with the Quality Management System by executing audits and conducting follow-up corrective actions. You will participate in product and process planning/design, gage design, and service development while performing all quality PCO/PCR reviews. Additionally, you will drive compliance to Control Plans & PPAP’s, perform root cause analysis, and evaluate process capability by applying appropriate statistical techniques and control methods.

ResponsibilitiesApply quality system elements to achieve and improve quality objectives.Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System through audits and corrective actions.Participate in product and process planning/design, gage design, and service development.Perform all quality PCO/PCR reviews and drive compliance to Control Plans & PPAP’s.Conduct root cause analysis.Evaluate process capability and apply statistical techniques and control methods.Provide feedback to operators to ensure control of key process and product characteristics.Maintain regulatory agency requirements for certification, including control and record-keeping of correspondence, testing results, certificates, and regular reviews.Essential SkillsRoot cause analysisExperience in a manufacturing environmentFMEA, PFMEA, DFMEAEngineering and mechanical engineeringValidation and product testingComponent selectionElectro-mechanical product knowledgeSPC/MSA experienceKnowledge of PCB assembly (Aerospace, medical, or industrial electronics)Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (Certified Quality Engineer)2-5+ years in a Quality Engineering roleSupplier validation and qualification experienceExperience in a manufacturing environment, including part and product validationWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
