Quanex is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team located in Statesville, North Carolina.

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer  to support the quality system design, management of ISO 9000, fulfillment of customer PPAP and APQP requirements and to identify areas for measurement and implement systems to gather data as needed and monitor data to ensure target levels are achieved. This position also plays a key role in troubleshooting product and manufacturing quality issues.

What Success Looks Like:

Capable of performing and interpreting Measurement System Analysis. Skilled in comprehending and communicating technical information and problem solving using statistical techniques to all levels of the organization, suppliers and customers. Adept in handling multiple tasks smoothly with high accountability level . Ability to read and comprehend computer generated reports, design specifications and engineering drawings. Highly autonomous and self-motivated. Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed.

 Your Credentials:

3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with quality in injection molding manufacturing processes or automotive background is preferred. Knowledge of quality systems: ISO9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans. College degree in a technical discipline required. Advanced certification (CQE, CQM, CQA) preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required experience with Minitab or other statistical packages preferred.

Salary Range: $67,954.00 to $85,000.00 with potential to earn an annual bonus
