MRB Liaison Engineer Job Number: 354978 Category: -Engineering & Design SBU Description: A Quality Engineer opportunity is available in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. The selected candidate will provide on-site Field Engineering and Technical Support. Review all Non-Conformance Report NCR dispositions for issues; coordinate with buyer and vendor to resolve fabrication issues pertaining to material or fabrication processes. Apply engineering principles and experience to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer. Assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Develop and implement product/process improvements. Identify documents, analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommend and manage resolutions. Job Duties: Support the Material Review Board (MRB) by analyzing and dispositioning non-conforming materials, parts, and assemblies. Develop repair solutions for structural and system discrepancies following Boeing and FAA-approved methods. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production issues. Interpret and apply Boeing Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), Engineering drawings, and FAR regulations. Ensure repair procedures comply with FAA, Boeing, and customer requirements. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action development for recurring issues. Support on-site inspections and provide technical assistance to mechanics and production teams. Maintain documentation and generate technical reports related to MRB actions. Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. 7+ years' experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings. 7+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry. 7+ years' experience aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support. Preferred: Excellent cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication. Modification Engineering experience. Relevant technological knowledge. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to lead others, work independently, and in a team environment. Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $110,000 to $160,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
