Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection, material review boards, failure review boards, and non-conformance reporting. This role involves supporting second shift operations and requires knowledge of manufacturing execution systems, GD&T, and inspection tools.

ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections and develop quality inspection plans.Participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.Report and manage non-conformance issues.Utilize manufacturing execution systems to ensure quality standards are met.Apply knowledge of GD&T and various inspection tools in daily tasks.Support second shift operations with a focus on maintaining quality standards.Perform functional tests with an electrical/electronics background.Essential Skills5-7 years of experience in aerospace and defense.Proficiency in quality inspection and developing quality inspection plans.Experience with Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.Strong understanding of non-conformance reporting.Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems.Knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.functional testing, particularly in electrical/electronics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in micron antenna bonding.Knowledge of micron electronics integration.Skills in micron functional testing.Experience with micron rework.Work Environment

This position is on-site at a client site in West Texas. The work environment involves working at a startup company in Midland, TX, focused on satellite manufacturing for the space industry. The role supports second shift operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

relocation expense, stipend, hotel stay for 2 months and stock options. Company will hire off phone interview for QE
