Purpose and Responsibilities

The Senior DevOps Engineer designs, maintains and develops software delivery capabilities for cloud hosted systems and is primarily focused on supporting the greater team development efforts. He/she/they will work with an established team of .NET and front-end developers to enhance our existing platform, create new platforms, and help drive continued development. The Engineer will see opportunities to work with cross-functional and cross-geographic team members.

 

Purpose and Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer is responsible for testing and analysis of mobile and web applications and their related services, creating test plans and test cases, test execution to include identification and tracking issues through resolution

This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Delivery and has no direct reports.

Critical Job Duties:

Design, develop, and document test plans for validating components of the CoreLogic software solutions

Execute hands-on functional testing in of applications, integrations across multiple platforms and configuration scenarios

Work closely with engineering teams using agile development methodologies to qualify all software projects and functionality for delivery of CoreLogic software

Ensure components of software solutions meet pre-defined feature, function, reliability, and performance requirements of customers and integration partners

Work closely with software engineers to diagnose and repair components of the software solutions using sound validation techniques and tools

Participate in research of new technology and validation and certification tools/methodologies to improve the delivery of software solutions

Perform formal software functional analysis and performance analysis

Willingness to contribute to other efforts within the company

Contribute as capable to Automated testing suites and tools

Job Qualifications:

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker who is self-motivated and driven to own issues and see them through to resolution. He/She/They will have a strong understanding of web and mobile application functionality and be able to quickly learn applications to create comprehensive and thoughtful test scenarios. The candidate should be excited about developing, documenting, and executing tests to ensure the delivery of a quality business application software product.

Experience in quality engineering / software testing of web and mobile applications

Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies

Experience with automation testing preferred, particularly using Cypress, Postman, ReadyAPI, and Swagger

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred

Excellent written and oral communication skills

The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

A critical thinker that seeks new ideas, and has strong problem-solving skills

The ability to rapidly triage technical issues

Strong ownership mentality

Ability to understand/translate business needs into appropriate testing of software solutions

Ability to decompose internal and customer requirements into detailed test cases for functional and regression test execution

Ability to provide occasional after-hours test and/or deployment support

Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills

The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
