Description

The main function of the Quality Analyst is to perform a variety of quality duties related to the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and equipment supporting the facility’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the Facility & Validation department.

This position performs analytical process steps as described in the QMS and provides feedback to ensure continuous process improvement (CI), as well as managing the Built in Quality (BIQ) issue management process. Typical analytical activities include collecting/analyzing quality data and investigating nonconformance and process quality issues to determine appropriate corrective actions.

The position monitors adherence to quality standards, leads audits, and develops action plans for addressing any nonconformance that impacts key quality requirements including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Process Quality, and generally ensuring continued facility accreditation for “ISO 17025: Testing and Calibration Laboratory”.

Occasionally, the position requires assisting with various other facility compliance policies which could include safety, site security, information protection, and others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

-\tAssociate degree (or equivalent on-the-job training), 2-years of technical school, or relevant apprenticeship programs

CRITICAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

-\tWorking knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or a quality management system in a testing or calibration environment

-\tWorking knowledge of various engineering, manufacturing, and/or quality standards and practices

-\tStrong data entry, processing, and analysis skills

-\tMicrosoft Power Platform experience (PowerApps, PowerBi, PowerAutomate) including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

-\tProject Management experience / knowledge

-\tOther compliance management and/or process auditing experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
