About you and this role
Dow is seeking a dedicated and skilledQuality Engineerfor our Silicone Plant inSeneffe,Belgium. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing our quality program, enhancing customer satisfaction, and resolving plant quality issues. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality products while maintaining compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can make a significant impact on product quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the operations team, technology center, research and development, and other subject matter experts. Responsibilities
+ Implement and maintain the site quality program in alignment with the Business Quality Strategy at the plant level.
+ Serve as an effective interface between customers and the plant, ensuring consistent high-quality service and representing the “Voice of Customer.”
+ Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance productivity.
+ Generate quality data to drive product quality improvements.
+ Lead cross-functional management of change activities related to product quality.
+ Train and guide plant personnel and other roles impacting product quality on customer and product regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
+ Willingness to develop deep knowledge of product specifications, production processes, and customer specifications.
+ Ability to analyze data using statistical methods, including control charts.
+ Awareness of industrial safety standards and regulations and understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes.
+ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
+ Good understanding of technical documentation.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French to convey technical information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ A problem-solving mindset with high reliability.
+ Ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, with a curious mindset to explore innovative solutions.
+ Ability to make decisions under pressure, ensuring efficient plant operations, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
+ Good planning skills, resource allocation, and timeline management.
