Quality Engineer

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Interpret project quality requirements for domestic and international customers, adhering to contract requirements as well as relevant international codes and standards. Develop project-specific documents, such as the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Painting Specification, Project Quality Plan (PQP) etc. Review fabrication procedures for Welding, NDE, Painting, PMI, Heat Treatment, Hydro/Pneumatic Test, Packing and Preservation etc. Conduct inspection of raw material, piping bulk components (pipe, fittings, flanges, valves etc.), fabricated components like piping, structures and pressure vessel etc. Review supplier reports (MTC, welding, NDE, coating, heat treatment, Impact Test, IGC etc.), supplier ITP, manufacturer record book ensuring compliance with domestic and international customer standards. Witness and perform internal and customer FAT after system completion. Identify and report quality issues and support in the investigation of root cause and effective implementation of agreed corrective action with evidence for satisfactory closure using Emerson Global Continuous Improvement System. Identify process improvement opportunities for internal and supplier processes. Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, work instructions, template and demonstrate adherence during internal, project or external audits.  Overseeing essential quality-related activities on assigned projects. Supervise support activities pertaining to suppliers/fabricators product quality on assigned project

For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum Qualification – Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Production Engineering or related discipline. Other graduate with relevant core quality experience can be considered. 4 to 10 years of experience in quality. Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Major Fabrication, EPC/TPI agency.            NDT level II – Ultrasonic testing, Radiography testing, Penetrant testing. Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and quality culture                         Well Conversant with MS office, word and PowerPoint & data analysis etc.                                      Well conversant with National and International Codes / Standards related to material, NDE, Welding, Coating etc.                                     Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Welding inspector certification like CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI or equivalent, IWE/IWT.  Coating Inspector certifications like NACE/BGAS. NDT level III. ISO 9001:2015 Internal or Lead auditor.
