Quality Engineer
Support the risk and failure analysis (PFMEA) reviews and update/maintain the Control Plan for the assigned work flows Primary contact source with customer/supplier representatives, maintain positive communication and relationship, support and attend meetings,reviews and audits Performs root cause analysis of technical problems Ensures that the quality system is maintained in accordance with the Business Operating System (BOS) standards. Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices. Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues Participate in internal and external quality audits, and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses Participate in workgroups (e.g., FMEA, PSMC, etc.) Establish process controls, assist in training of new projects and buy-off on new/modified equipment and processes Support quality/dimensional control systems (i.e., X&Rcharts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies) Strong working knowledge of APQP tools (e.g., Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.) 

Bachelor's Level Degree 

Area of Study: Quality, Industrial of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in Quality or Engineering related function.

*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
