Quality Engineer Requisition ID: 42952 Job Location(s): Reynosa, MX Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: Supply Chain & Operations **Job Description** **Danfoss Mexico** is looking for our plant in **Reynosa** , a **Quality Engineer.** As **Quality Engineer** you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling process quality, developing, and driving action plans for quality improvements. Leads investigations and responses to in-line rejects and process quality issues. Supports continuous improvement activities and ensures product flow consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 1. Develop, communicate, and lead action plans to prevent and resolve internal customer and quality issues. 2. Lead action plans for external customer complaints through the customer claims handling group. 3. Address customer complaints using the organization's problem-solving tools. 4. Develop and train quality technicians, auditors, etc. 5. Perform quality process and system audits. 6. Conduct statistical studies as needed (e.g., GR&R, CPK, SPC). 7. Lead problem-solving activities using organizational tools. 8. Participate in change management processes, including internal process changes, product changes, and new product introductions. 9. Address warranty failures related to the manufacturing process. 10. Manage Material Review Board (MRB) disposition in the shop floor. 11. Develop and implement corrective actions (such as 8D) when applicable. 12. Participate in High-Performance Team activities/meetings and take actions related to applicable quality KPIs. 13. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF16949, and customer-specific requirements. 14. Support and participate in continuous improvement activities like Kaizen, Ideas Programs, and cost-out improvements aligned with business goals. 15. Ensure compliance with EHS requirements when scheduling suppliers/contractors at the plant premises. 16.
