Quality Engineer - Goleta, CA
**Description:** You will be a Quality Engineer for our Missiles and Fire Control \(MFC\) Santa Barbara Focalplane team, based in Goleta, CA\. **What You Will Be Doing** As a Quality Engineer, you will have quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products\. Your responsibilities will include: • Supports Integrated Product Teams and various production sites with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non\-conformance aging • Reviews documentation related to internal manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer • Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to complex by collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place • Dispositions non\-conforming hardware, identify hardware containment requirements, identify appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence • Participate as an active member of Preliminary Material Review Boards and potentially Material Review Boards • Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO\-9001/AS9100 • The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment and respond rapidly to emerging issues • This role involves working in a cleanroom environment \(dress in cleanroom attire, including head and facial coverings\) • This position may require up to 10% overtime annually in support of program execution **Why Join Us** You're a detail\-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for quality engineering\.
