SUMMARY: 

This quality engineering position is responsible for understanding customer feedback and driving quality improvement in the Logistics process.

Areas of focus include: quality improvement, customer satisfaction, project support, and ensuring product conformance to specification and performance standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide quality leadership for value stream/ product lines including quality systems, data analysis, project prioritization and project management.Possess ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced Logistics environmentDrive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solvingOwning the quality metricsExpertise in both using and coaching others in approachesStrong knowledge of quality management and lean manufacturing principles:  PDCA, A3, DOE, 5-Why, Fish Bone Diagram, Lean Sigma, DMAICDocument control, product and process qualification, and audit processesError Proofing, Eyes for Waste, Visual ManagementAbility to gather and analyze data through statistical techniques, Usage of computer software tools, such as Excel, Sharepoint or PowerBi, to analyze data to detect trends and abnormalitiesAble to read and interpret drawings and specificationsParticipating in design reviews,  Leading and participating in Process Failure Mode and Affect Analysis (PFMEA)Developing process validation plans and documenting results

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

BS degree in Engineering or Technology1-3 years experience in a manufacturing, continuous process environment requiredKnowledge of PFMEA, quality programs, SPC, process capability and lean manufacturing principlesWorking knowledge of measurement tools and systems

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
