Quality Engineer II
Everbridge, a global provider of critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, are seeking a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for the quality of our , , and SaaS-based Critical Event Management platforms. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in New Zealand. As a Quality Engineer at Everbridge, you will be an integral part of an engineering team, collaborating closely with team members to embed quality best practices into the application development process.  The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, extensive experience in Quality Engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices, hands-on skills with API and GUI based testing; both manual and automated.  Functional, performance, and load testing, as well as technical testing skills such as database querying and code comprehension. What you'll do:Work closely with engineering and support teams to drive commitments to quality Build and execute API and GUI tests, manually and via automation scripts Write test plans and execute them for new features and applications Track issues and work with developers to identify root causes Generate and analyze test reports Perform quality inspections of test and development artifacts within the team Drive quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementations Provide technical guidance/coaching to developers on quality tasks Provide an established record of driving a culture of quality within your team What you'll bring:2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment 2+ years of experience automated testing using Python (preferably using the pytest framework) 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment Automated and manual GUI testing experience (Python with Selenium) Automated and manual REST API testing experience Automated and manual mobile app testing experience (Android and iOS) Experience of database query or scripting Experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, K8s, Salt, Terraform, Redis Ability to work effectively with product management, software development, and release engineer Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Lifecycle using Agile principles About Everbridge
