The Quality Engineer Intern for Mammotome is responsible for providing technical support for quality-related projects. Work with the Sr. Project Quality Engineer to analyze product and component specifications and drawings and assist with their implementation into the QMS. Develop and implement test methods, create visual aids, work instructions, any other documents need it for the project.
This position is part of the Quality Assurance team located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Analyze product and component specifications such as drawings, identify the most critical and create the documentation to be used by the inspectors such as Incoming Inspection instructions and records, In Process and final Product Inspections.
+ Define test methods, create protocols, develop standard works, and execute the validation of the test method. Analize the results (basic statistical analysis).
+ Responsibilities Train the inspectors on how to execute those inspections.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Engineering degree in process (Industrial, Biomedical or related)
+ No experience required
+ Fluent English, both oral and written
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Understands drawing
+ Minitab
+ Statistic Techniques
