Quality Engineer (Internal Quality Auditor)

An Internal Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations, conducting audits, and recommending improvements to enhance organizational processes.
**Key roles and responsibilities will include** :
+ Plan and execute internal audits to assess compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant standards (AS9100 or ISO9001:2015).
+ Review and evaluate processes, procedures, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards and contractual or statutory requirements
+ Document audit findings, identify non-conformities, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements
+ Work closely with various departments to facilitate audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
+ Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and audit processes to foster a culture of quality within the organization
+ Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new and enhancement of existing processes that are used daily to support operations within PacSci
**Qualifications:**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess processes and identify areas for improvement
+ Proficient knowledge of Quality Engineering principles and practices
+ Knowledge and experience with AS9100D, ISO9001:2015 and other industry quality standards
+ Proficient in corrective actions and problem-solving methodologies (CAPA) to allow you to serve as “train-the-trainer” in causal analysis and continuous improvement activities
+ Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey audit findings and collaborate with team members at all levels, including Senior Management Staff.
+ Organized and efficient in time-management, capable of multi-tasking
+ Scheduling and facilitating internal, costumer, government and AS9100 audits.
+ A keen eye for detail to ensure thorough evaluations and accurate reporting of audit results
+ Leadership skills to mentor, develop team members to achieve goals/objectives and develop talent
**Education and Experience:**
+ Required: current certification as a Lead AS9100D or Lead ISO9001:2015 auditor with a minimum of 8 years of experience
+ Required: BS Degree in a relevant field (e.g., quality management, quality or process/lean engineering, operations management, etc)
+ Preferred: Quality Certification such as ASQ, CQM, or CQE
+ Preferred: Experience/knowledge of AS, Automotive, Medical requirements
+ Ability to travel up to 25% to another Ralliant or Pac-Sci site

**Bonus or Equity**
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
**Pay Range**
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,200.00 - 150,800.00
**Is this role subject to ITAR?**
The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
