What's the job?

We are going through an exciting period of change and are seeking a highly motivated and eager to learn iOS Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a QE for this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the data that is produced for use by our front-end teams.

Responsibilities:

The delivery of testing for the Engineering Squad.Contribute to show & tell sessions to communicate with stakeholdersAble to (or have a development plan in place, towards having ability to) contribute hands-on to test automation (ways of working, best practice, scripting and execution).Perform manual test scripting/execution if required.Able to execute all levels of testing (front end, back end, API/integration and regression).Detect, report & track defects and inconsistencies.Collaborate and contribute with team to support estimation. Skills:

Comfortable working in an Engineering Squad with Software & Quality Engineers to support continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.Being the voice of quality across the software development lifecycle.Build strong rapport with business stakeholders to gain context perspective on priority and criticality of test coverage.Understand and break down requirements to determine the testing types required.Understand the automation lifecycle within your area of work.Understand how to apply automation best practice across Unit testing, contract/integration testing vs full end to end automated tests.Comfortable with troubleshooting and problem solving.

Requirements:

Proven experience (3+ years) as an iOS QA Engineer.Experience in debugging REST, GraphQL with proxy tools.Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.Solid understanding of Quality Assurance within Agile methodologiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Can demonstrate or provide evidence of the ability to bring innovative ideas into the mobile apps division that have made positive changes to the QA process.Experience in testing Android and iOS native appsBe Customer Focused – constantly improving our customers’ experienceI listen to my customersI use available data to help make decisionsBe Human – acting with humanity and careI do the right thingI am respectful
