Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join our team in Enfield, CT.

The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization.Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers.Ensures RCCA meet customer requirements and response time.Lead all on customer scorecards metrics to achieve a 100% rating.Works to address non-conforming eventsLeads all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally.  Works with customer on RMA product and submits documents for MRB approval.Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study2 - 4 years of related work experienceEquivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experienceExperience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineeringSix Sigma certificationPrevious Aerospace experience

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $65,000.00 - $92,000.00
