Quality Engineer (York, PA)
As a quality engineer you will apply quality assurance and risk control principles to ensure patient safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Your role:
Works within the elements of the Philips quality system to prevent non-conformances and non-compliance, as well as detect and pro-actively react to transducer safety and quality risks.Works with a team of quality engineers and technicians to carry out quality system requirements. Interfaces routinely with factory, product industrialization, research and development engineering and operations personnel to achieve overall organizational quality goals.Involves gaining detailed knowledge of products, components, and processes in transducer manufacturing. This position will involve learning detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality concepts.You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired at least 4+ years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or quality related role.You have at least a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Scientific, or related technical field.Your skills include:Excellent oral and written communication techniques. Technical writing competency is required.Ability to comprehend and evaluate written material for technical concepts and compliance to procedures and regulations.Familiarity with Windchill, ARIS, and SAP desirable.Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as well as metrology principles.Ability to work as part of a team to achieve collaborative solutions.Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and systematic problem-solving skillsKnowledge of statistical techniques and the use of Minitab.Understanding of electrical, materials, and acoustic principles desirable.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an onsite role at a third party owned logistics center in York, PA. Up to 10% travel to the Reedsville facility.

The pay range for this position is $87,000 to $139,000 per year.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to York, PA.
