Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in defining and developing products and processes in both the development and manufacturing environment. *This position will be fully on-site in Enfield, CT.*

Key Responsibilities:

Works on developing processes and documentation for new or modified products. Identify and specify materials, tools, and equipment required to support engineering. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement process improvements for current products in production. Communicate with engineering team as required on development and manufacturing activities. Troubleshoot processes when part failures occur; diagnose issues and report to engineering and manufacturing.

Must Have:

2 years minimum completed towards an engineering degree. Must be able read, write and speak fluent English. Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite. Above average oral and written communications skills with in-house technical personnel and outside vendors and customers. Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, materials properties. Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.

The pay rate for this internship is $20/hour.
