Project Title

TipQA Quality Engineering, QMS Software Systems Internship

Project Overview

This 12-month internship offers an exciting hands-on opportunity for a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to support the implementation and integration of a Quality Management Systems software. This internship offers hands on experience in aerospace standards such as AS9100, process improvement, and digital transformation within a regulated industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new system while maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Main Project Deliverables Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of the new QMS software  Collaborate  with quality engineers, IT, and production teams to map existing processes into the digital system Support data migration, ensuring accuracy and completeness of historical quality records Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for employees  Assist in document control, workflow automation, and integration of quality procedures  Participate in software validation activities to ensure regulatory compliance Identify opportunities for process improvement using the new system Provide troubleshooting and user support during the implementation phase  Maintain project timelines and report progress to management Learning Outcomes Real-world experience auditing and updating critical facilities infrastructure documentation. Practical exposure to Quality Engineering standards, QMS, and TipQA Quality Engineering Software. Cross-functional collaboration and communication with engineering, safety, and operations stakeholders. Foundational understanding of manufacturing QMS and the quality engineering lifecycle management. Job Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in quality engineering, quality assurance, process improvement, and software implementation or related technical field. Currently holds 3.0 GPA or hire. Available to work 30+ hours per week. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling large datasets. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams. US Person per ITAR regulations and able to comply with export compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications Foundational understanding of QMS principles and aerospace industry standards is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment  Exposure to infrastructure or facilities-related projects. Experience with QMS or ERP software is a plus Compensation Data

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
