Collins Aerospace is searching for a Quality Engineering Manager who will own the execution of key elements of program quality assurance operational plans.  You will lead a team of quality engineers, supporting multiple programs and customers within Civil Space. You will also manage key customer relationships.

What You Will Do

Foster a team environment of collaboration, respect, and continuous learningLead a small team of product quality engineers supporting multiple aerospace customersManage complex problems requiring extensive analysis and investigationDemonstrate ability to influence others to accept approaches and practices.Oversees quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in non-conformances and escapes.Participates in and supports site compliance (FAI, AS9100D) and customer AuditsReviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for internally produced products & processes.Responsible for Product Quality EngineeringDevelops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experienceU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62Previous experience in product quality

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
