Chrysalis is a company that provides a variety of support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles that have developmental and intellectual disabilities. These individuals also have a variety of fragile medical issues. This position requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, make crucial decisions in regards to the care and treatment of at-risk individuals, and possess the ability to communicate those decisions effectively to others.
The Quality Enhancement Department is responsible for bridging any divide between the individual houses or Day Program Facilities and the management team. The Q.E. assistant is directly responsible for assisting the Quality Enhancement Coordinator with improving the quality of life for the individuals we serve, improving morale of the staff in each house, assists in bringing the program into state and local regulatory compliance, and ensures that the homes themselves are cared for and well maintained.
Some duties include:
Light maintenance, for example, changing light bulbs, air filters, toilet handles, replenishing first aid kits, any duties the Q.E. Coordinator assigns.
Hours of work are between 8 am and 5 pm and occasional after hours calls for emergencies.
Must be able to drive a company vehicle, have a basic knowledge of Chrysalis Policy and Procedure, be current on all trainings
