As a Quality Improvement Consultant, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement activities for assigned populations.Working independently and leading specific work groups to achieve project goals.Analyzing gaps in clinical care and identifying barriers to care, aligning interventions with our strategic plan.Facilitating the organization's performance improvement process in collaboration with project team leaders.Conducting training and educational programs for staff and physicians on performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, and related topics.Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree required.
• Masters degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred.
• Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience. Microsoft Office skills to include: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and SharePoint. May require knowledge of data entry systems (e.g. NCQA IDSS/ISS tools, electronic health records, supplemental databases, HEDIS software tools).
