A Quality Improvement Project Manager (QIPM) contributes to AHF by  utilizing their experience, skills, and education together to monitor compliance with NCQA standards and participate in NCQA survey preparation. The QIPM assists with preparation for HEDIS data collection, validation audits, data submission and in concert with the Quality Committees, assists in the design and implementation of programs and projects to improve HEDIS rates. The QIPM activities will be continuous and fit within the framework of improving client care, health outcomes and client satisfaction. Primary activities include collaborating with the team to develop, implement and monitor QI plan, performance measurement prioritization, data extraction for clinical quality management purposes (collect, validate, aggregate, analyze, and report on measurement data).  

A  QIPM enhances the reputation of AHF by  utilizing your quality improvement experience. You will have responsibility for collecting, validating, aggregating, analyzing and reporting of data. You will interact with health plan Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and ancillary staff to develop QI strategies, as well as support efforts to complete the annual CAHPS and Provider Satisfaction surveys. You will also collaborate with the Information Technology Department and other QI staff to obtain relevant information to track and trend quality indicators.  The QIPM will conduct audits of PCP and Case/Disease Management records/charts to identify areas for improved quality of care. You will also establish and utilize benchmarks and thresholds as quality indicators, perform selected outcome studies, and participate in developing a training program related to Quality Improvement.
