Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Inspector to work our overnight shift.

Your Responsibilities:

Verify that final work product (statements and letters), with the written instructions to ensure that they meet production standardsExamine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workAble to explain to operators and supervisors how the product doesn’t match the clients instructionsReport problems or concerns with quality results with senior management immediatelyEnsure that items that go out the door, are 100% accurateInput data into the production data baseWalking around to different machines to verify the accuracy of jobs.Cross-train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table).Learn about our production process and the role that the QC has.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations

Your Shift: Shift Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

1+ Years Experience in a Production EnvironmentMust be self-motivated, organized and detailed orientedBasic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devicesBasic problem solving skillsBasic computer skills (open, save, print a file, enter data)Be able to work extended hours and weekends based on production scheduleStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience within the print industry/fast paced high production environment1+ Years Quality Experience

The anticipated hourly salary range for this position is $20-$22 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
