We are looking for a (Quality inspector partial discharge) join our (Quality) team. Based in Tetla – Mexico.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with the requirements, standards, policies and procedures of the TL 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 17025; ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 systems (integrated management system) 6S’s, LEAN and SIGMA SOS, monitoring and promoting their application and observance throughout the Company, in order to align all activities carried out with its Organizational Culture.
Ensure and carry out acceptance tests according to sampling and based on the applicable standards, and make decisions based on these results and make continuous improvement to the plant's quality management system.
Communicate to internal clients the results of the tests carried out through a results report.
Ensure the measurement of results, verify the status of the measurement and test equipment used for electrical tests through a CHECK LIST, identifying if they are damaged, to avoid using them and causing an error in the test result, repair the damage or schedule its repair with maintenance. (champion).
Prepare cables (tips) for testing according to national and international procedures and standards as applicable in their methods and procedures, identifying them appropriately according to quality management system procedures. For the different types of cables produced at the Tetla plant (Prysmian).
Communicate to internal customers when test results are unsatisfactory, Reporting the Location of Partial Discharge or Dielectric Withstand faults to provide feedback to production and process engineering to reduce errors in production processes, and if the case warrants, recover finished product.

Participate and support in certification, homologation and product release audits and remote inspection. Support in the inspection and release process of finished products for CFE and Individuals.

Who are we looking for?

FORMAL EDUCATION: (Technical, Specialization, Engineering) Minimum Technician (preferably electrical engineering or similar).

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience (desirable) in the area of partial discharge inspection or similar.

TRAINING: (Desirable): Handling of Office Software. Knowledge in the preparation of comparative graphs. Knowledge of the ISO 9001:TL 9000, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 standards.
