Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is weeking reliable candidates for a Quality Inspector position with a company in Erie, PA. There is an opening on both 1st and 2nd shift.
Quality Inspector
Pay Range: $15.50-17/hr for 1st shift. $16/hr for 2nd shift plus 10% shift differential
Shift: 1 opening on 1st shift--6am-2:30pm M-F--there is flexibility for 6:30am-3pm or 7a-3:30pm/ 1 opening on 2nd shift--train on 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm M-F, then move to 2nd shift.
***Candidate must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check***
Duties
Follow job order to the exact detail Compare job order with specs on the computer screen Use of magnifying glass to observe defects in soldering balls and joints Report defects Pull part that is defective Repetitive position Sitting position Perform visual inspection of both printed circuit boards and assemblies Verify material according to applicable acceptance criteria (IPC, IIP, data sheets, etc.) Interpret drawings, work instructions, job routings, test instructions, BOM’s and inspection
documents Identify/segregate nonconforming material according to established procedures Maintain accurate records of product acceptance and FAI/FAR requirements The role also involves basic computer use, including scanning QR codes for the PCBS and entering relevant data--such as customer name, date, serial number--into a daily log spreadsheet. Verify in-process and finished product according to applicable standards and criteria (AQL,
QSL, customer print, established program, etc. Perform inspections using optical scopes, measurement tools and x-ray equipment Qualifications Previous OEM or EMS industry experience highly desirable Must be proficient with using a computer. Job requires utilizing Outlook, Excel, Word for important documentation Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 13485 manufacturing environment Strong analytical, problem solving and innovative solution capabilities Excellent communication ability using strong listening skills and logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas High school diploma or GED Benefits Full benefits 1st day of employment (health, dental, vision, etc.) 401k with company match Paid time off and paid holidays
