The Quality Systems Inspector / Leak Tester is responsible for conducting daily inspections and testing of components and assemblies in compliance with documented procedures and processes, ensuring alignment with the overall quality assurance plan and policy. Key tasks include helium leak testing, troubleshooting, repairs, component inspections, and certifying gas purity in components and final assemblies. The role also involves supporting daily and monthly tasks, along with continuous improvement efforts. A Quality Systems Inspector must be able to interpret and follow both written and verbal work instructions, as well as mechanical and electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and point-to-point wiring diagrams. Specific Responsibilities Include:

 

Perform receiving visual and dimensional measurement inspection of raw material components during receiving and first article process Perform risk analysis and corrective action plans, experience with material disposition Processing notifications for manufacturing and supplier defects Helium leak testing and gas purity analysis of equipment manufactured by Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Center Complete first article inspections and containment activities Support the ISO 9001-2015 program Support internal audits and systematic site audits Provide general support for the manufacturing, and quality teams in the form of problem solving and continuous improvement Safely use of hand tools including wrenches, sockets, crimp tools, Digital Volt / Ohm Meters, micrometers, gauges, and fixtures.  Properly using PPE working in clean area and clean rooms  Travel 10% for cross functional training/local customer or supplier support

 

Physical Attributes:

Climb ladders up to 12 ft. with fall protectionLift up to 50 pound Bending of the knees and overhead reachingWearing PPE (hair cover, face cover, cleanroom gown with Latex or Nitrile gloves)

 

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in a quality control environment in a manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience as a quality inspector, lot release, first article inspector, or quality control disciplines

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Business Administration, or other Quality   disciplineOperational expertise in Microsoft application Ability to perform risk analysis and corrective action plans, experience with material dispositionExperience working with SAP or ERP systemMass spectrometer and gas purity analyzer knowledgeMicrosoft Office knowledge electrical and wiring experience
