Temp-to-Hire position$19.50 to $21.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Sunday through Saturday)Checks conformance with established raw ingredient and finished product specifications.Performs quality control operations. Coordinates QC/compliance objectives with production and other quality unit members.Engages in inspections and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. . Performs ATP testing as part of cleaning verification. Collects representative samples for retains and testing. Functions as a line quality inspector ensuring compliance with specifications. • Reports non-compliance to supervisors. Coordinates with quality, production, and other managers. Performs other duties as may be assigned. In the absence of the employee, responsibilities will be performed by Quality Manager or designee.Quality Inspector Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality or production of consumer goods. Food industry background preferred. Some experience or familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ability to read, speak and write in English. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) plant safety and OSHA requirements.Ability to lift boxes and fill forms.
