Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Control Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of mechanical parts and materials through detailed inspections and documentation. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. **Responsibilities** + Perform incoming inspections to verify the accuracy of vendor deliveries. + Assist in the inspection of mechanical parts and materials, engaging appropriate departments as needed. + Quarantine nonconforming components/materials and notify the appropriate department leader. + Engage and correspond with vendors regarding nonconforming products and manage the RMA process from start to finish. + Verify the accuracy and completeness of outbound equipment projects, sales orders, and other shipments leaving the facility. + Document deficient or absent equipment and components and communicate with appropriate personnel. + Create, maintain, and store documentation proving acceptable quality outcomes of equipment, parts, and materials. + Document revisions of blueprints/Bill of Materials and ensure timely completion with the correct desired outcome. + Be present for and verify all mechanical and electrical testing, communicating outcomes to appropriate personnel. + Develop and implement special projects as directed by the Director of Manufacturing. **Essential Skills** + Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics. + Experience utilizing Bill of Materials. + 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proven experience communicating with internal and external personnel to identify and secure solutions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP software, and miscellaneous computer programs. + Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S methodology. + Experience with vendor communication and RMA processes. + Clear and effective communication skills across a variety of mediums. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and quality, offering a clean and organized work environment.
