As a supplier of one third of catalysts into the automotive industry globally, we are playing our part in creating a future for tomorrow._ This position is responsible for continuously monitoring catalyst production and liaisons with production personnel to ensure that products conform to all applicable specifications. The QC Inspector will also obtain representative product samples from finished production lots, prepare them for required testing and assist the QC Team Lead in clearing lots for final submission to Quality Assurance for lot release. **Your Responsibilities:** + Comply with all environmental & health and safety federal, state, local regulations and company policies. + Responsible for the preparation of catalysts in a timely manner and according to procedures. + Support Production to ensure that product quality always satisfies customer requirements. + Working knowledge of LIMS and other computer software. + Ensure proper and effective communication of all issues inter/intra-departmentally. + Maintain clear and accurate records. + Manual handling, inspection, and identification of catalysts according to JM production procedures or specific customer requirements. + Uphold JM quality standards by visually inspecting parts that are set aside by production for defects or damage. This includes proper part segregation for disposition. + Handling, identification, and segregation of non-conforming products. + Maintain identity of parts according to lot numbers. + Participates in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Active participant of 5s philosophy. + Perform other duties as assigned associated with maintaining production flow **Requirements for the role:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Associates degree in technical field or 1-2 years Quality Control experience preferred. + Working knowledge of PC and applicable software. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Good organizational skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy. + Capable of working as a team member with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work a patterned schedule, which may require evening, night and weekend work. **How you will be rewarded:** We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 20 days annual leave (varies for shift- based roles).
