Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ATP Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect completed FLIR camera systems to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. This includes performing detailed inspections, utilizing various measuring tools and equipment, and documenting any non-conformances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our quality assurance initiatives, participating in internal and external audits, and contributing to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform final functional testing of FLIR productsInspect manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracyDocument inspection processesDiscuss manufacturing processes and anomalies with other departmentsPresent completed systems to customer during on-site delivery eventsResponsible for identification, communication and documentation of discrepancies found of nonconforming material and recommend dispositionResponsible for verification of compliance of outgoing material to requirements and/or external specificationsAs a member of Operations, the inspector can perform process evaluations, data analysis and be responsible for implementing corrective actionsExercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Job Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent (AA degree preferred)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsAbility to follow written proceduresAbility to set up and use electronic test equipmentInteracts effectively with peers and internal and external customers - Engineers, Planners, Manufacturing Associates, etc.Organizational and analysis skillsGood communication skills, written and verbalUnderstanding of material movement within ERP systems (SAP, for example) preferredMicrosoft applications familiarity.  Knowledge/experience of Excel, Word, and SAP preferredIndustry experience in a hands-on technical role preferredExperience in an ISO certified environment and within a quality assurance/inspection function preferred 

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
