Job Description:
Location: Cheshire, Connecticut
CoWorx Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector for a full-time position in Cheshire, CT. Occasional overtime may be available.
Responsibilities:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for:
• Inspecting various parts to assess their overall condition
• Ensure they meet the specifications and dimensions outlined in product drawings
• This role will regularly involve the use of micrometers, depth gauges, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, and optical comparators to assess part integrity
• The position will require working in both a Cleanroom (gowned) environment and a standard shop floor area
• Protective safety eyewear and footwear are mandatory on the shop floor
Desired Background/Skills:
Requirements:
• Focused individual; able to do a repeatable job with precision and maintain concentration.
• Has experience and ability to use necessary measurement equipment to provide reliable results.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Reads and understands English.
• Good mathematical skills and able to read and correctly interpret mechanical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, good visual acuity, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must complete all necessary reporting and required paperwork.
• Must follow all safety procedures and practices.
• Other duties as required.
Experience:
1-3 years quality inspection experience in a volume demand environment preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be dependable, reliable and have a teamwork mentality.
• High school diploma required.
Other Information:
Full time position 40 hours. First shift Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime available. $19.00 per hour.
