The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic Quality Inspector to join our Avantor Fluid Handling team. You are the first point of contact in the field of quality for the employees who assemble single use products in our cleanrooms at our location in Hillegom.As part of our enthusiastic QA team, you will contribute to delivering innovative products to our customers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry. Your focus is on inspecting materials and inspecting assemblies and activities in the cleanrooms. Within Quality you work closely with the QA Specialists, Quality Engineers and report to the QA Supervisor.
 The Hours
This is a full-time position (40h), from Monday to Friday. We offer flexible starting hours (between 7:30 and 9:00)
 The Team
You'll be working in a small team of 5. You can expect an open & friendly communication with a 'can do' mentality from your future colleagues.

What we are looking for

Education: Minimum of MBO degree.Experience: Previous experience with QA/QC role.Required Skills:
- You work independently & organised, while being able to prioritise tasks when faced with urgency.
- You are proactive and actively contribute to improving processes.
- Experience with performing deviations as well as corrective & preventive actions.
- Good communication skills with internal stakeholders.
- Confortable with Microsoft Outlook and familiar with ERP systems.
- Languages: Fluent in English with a good understanding of Dutch (or currently learning)Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and GDP.

How you will grow & create an impact

Responsible for the Inspection and release of incoming materials, checking for deviations and correct documentation.Regular inspections in production areas (Cleanroom) to carry out checks on the assembly process.Material overview of the quarantine room, drafting Non-conformities and Corrective and Preventive actions towards suppliers.Proactively establish procedures and work instructions & participate in internal audits.Assist in correcting order problems and ensuring that the measures taken are appropriate for incoming inspections.Make sure that the QA work area is always in a state of "audit readiness".Stops production when a non-conformance (NCR) is observed and follows appropriate NCR procedures.Documents non-conformances following applicable procedures and work instructions.Documents and trends any quality production issues discovered during the course of inspection duties.Ensures cleanliness of work areas during the inspection processes.Utilizes problem solving tools such as 5M+E, 5 Why’s, or other root cause analysis tools / methods to identify and permanently resolve issues.Walks the floor (GEMBA) to observe, train, and facilitate / support change in the various departments.Reviews production documentation for accuracy, completeness, and GDP compliance. #LI-EUR
