**Job Title: Quality Inspector ($41,000-46,000/yr.+)** **Job Description** We have two open positions for a Floor Inspector on the 1st shift, from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with the requirement to work Saturdays from 5:00am to 1:00pm. This is a direct hire opportunity. **Responsibilities** + Walk the floor and perform quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts. + Visually inspect castings. + Document findings on a log and follow quality instructions. + Utilize gauges provided. + Work in a foundry environment, rejecting castings and logging the inspection process stage. + Utilize blueprints. + Lift up to 50 lbs and walk the entire plant floor for the shift. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of quality inspection experience. + Willingness to work in a foundry environment. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Proficiency in math skills and experience using gauges. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + ISO certifications are a plus. **Why Work Here?** This is a direct placement opportunity with union benefits, offering an 8-hour shift with overtime and weekend availability. **Work Environment** This role is based in a very dirty foundry environment.
