Job Overview:

The Quality Inspector applies their conceptual knowledge of inspection and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward inspection problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Quality Inspector understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Perform field inspection activities on pre fab items & installed spools in accordance with project specification and scope as noted in the ITP. Review and familiarize with Project AFC drawing, ITP, Work Instruction, International code & Standards like SMACNA, ASHRAE, NEBB, AHRI etc, Project specification & commissioning activity relating to assigned project. Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant objectives proofs, ensuring monitoring and coordination of quality control activities on electrical and instrument equipment/system construction, installation and mechanical completion activities. Conducting all business activities in accordance to McDermott’s " Code of Business Conduct" and any other governing of the company. Liaison on a daily basis with construction / client/ engineering & TPI as necessary to ensure smooth running of project
