DUTIES, AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows the quality procedures belonging to the function of QC inspector (see also the quality document FB130).
- Declares with his signature on a QA (Quality Assurance) document that he has verified the measurements done by the production personnel. If the measurements do not agree, procedure V320 is started.
- Performs line checks in accordance with QA protocols, makes and records measurements.
- Collects reference samples and then releases or blocks production. Prepares blockage reports if applicable and communicates this information to the QA Manager.
- Performs assignments related to quality assurance (project participation) in consultation with the QA Manager.
- Instructs/trains employees in adherence to QA protocols and use of measurement tools.
- Makes recommendations and performs adjustments to QA protocols in consultation with the QA Manager.
- Supervises test sprays and/or validations and reports findings to the QA Manager.
- Performs entry checks and blocks offered products that do not meet specified quality requirements upon processing.
- Ensures adequate quality control of assigned product groups and maintains and increases the quality of all products.
- Identifies and advises in a timely manner in case of reduced quality or impending deterioration.
- Regularly participates in work meetings.
- Commits himself to following the rules described in the employment conditions regulations, company regulations and plant policy.
- Follows training and instruction when necessary.
- Initiates performance and assessment interviews with his direct supervisor.
Management is authorized to add one or more duties to the above upon successful completion of necessary training(s).
