Quality Inspector III **Location:** New Iberia, LA, United States, 70560 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries.The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia. **_What Will You Do?_** + Perform dimensional checks + Perform as-built measurements + Perform visual inspection of welds and dimensional verifications + Be able to read Jaeger 1 on an eye chart from a distance of not less than 12 inches and be able to pass a color contrast test to verify that they are not color blind + Coordinate with production for radiography and other NDE test + Perform pipe bend checks and black light inspection for oxygen service + Check anchor profile and dry mill paint inspections + Perform internal sampling audits + Perform Radiographic film Interpretation + Oversee third party NDE services on assigned projects + Perform inspections to ensure compliance with quality program and customer requirements + Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with ASME requirements + Perform pressure tests on finished products to verify leak and structural integrity + Required to work at elevated heights up to 75ft + Add’l duties and responsibilities may be assigned **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** Required to work at elevated heights up to 75ft. **_Your Experience Should Be..._** + High school diploma or equivalent + 10 years experience in the welding and construction industry + Current CWI preferred + ASME experience preferred + Ability to read structural and piping blueprints + Understanding of document controls and welding procedures preferred + Education may be substituted by extended experience **_Our Benefits Package..._** Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
