Perform visual and dimensional inspection on in-process and final inspection jobs using calibrated gages.Can work on different in-process inspection stations. Including shipping inspection.Ability to read and interpret router requirements and follow quality procedures.Able to understand customer prints and procurement specifications.Apply inspection stamp as required and write a discrepancy report if the job inspected did not meet the quality requirements.Obtain assistance from the Quality Inspection Supervisor or leads on questionable quality issues.Ability to train inspector trainee.Able to generate SPC dimensional histogram, inspection check sheets, first article inspection and balloon drawing.Follow all inspection procedures and quality requirements such as sampling plan.Ability to make decisions as to the acceptability of the products inspected.Plan and arrange workload to meet daily production goal and shipping schedule.Able to set up gages for inspection.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
