Quality Inspector - Level 3 (FAA) - 2nd Shift

As a Quality Inspector -  Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be accountable for inspecting and testing products at various stages of the production process, identifying any defects or non-conformities, and ensuring that all products meet the required standards. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •   Inspect and test products at various stages of the production process
    •   Identify and document any defects or non-conformities
    •   Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards
    •   Work with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective action

    -   Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection results

FAA REQUIREMENTS

\n

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).  The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in product inspection or quality control\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities\nKnowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

\n\nAssociate's degree in a technical field\nFAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Certificate.\nExperience in a manufacturing or production environment\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems\nCertification in quality control or inspection
