**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Quality Inspector - Level III to** join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ **Quality Assurance** : Ensure that products received or produced meet technical specifications, maintaining high standards of quality.
+ **Training** : By training others in the use of measurement equipment and documentation, you'll help build a knowledgeable and skilled team.
+ **Minimal Supervision** : Work under minimal supervision and demonstrate reliability/independence in your role.
+ **Final Quality Verification** : Verify the final quality of products on the production line, ensuring only top-quality products are delivered.
+ **Defect Identification** : By comparing physical characteristics to technical specifications, you will identify and separate defective products.
+ **Documentation** : Document non-conforming products using specified systems, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
+ **Measurement Techniques** : Using both basic and complex measurement techniques, ensure precise quality control.
+ **Adherence to Standards** : You will follow the company's quality norms and standards, contributing to consistent and reliable production processes.

+ **Laboratory Management** : Lead technical resources while managing the business aspects of the laboratory. Ensure that the laboratory meets the requirements of relevant certifications and accreditations, balancing technical and business needs.
+ **Effective Communication** : Clearly convey information and expectations to team members and stakeholders. Effective communication will facilitate collaboration and ensure everyone is aligned with the goals.
+ **Problem-Solving** : Tackle complex problems by making sense of high-volume and sometimes contradictory information. Your ability to manage complexity will be crucial in finding effective solutions and improving processes.
**Education/Experience:**
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Additional Information:**
+ Shift timing will be potentially 12:00PM - 8:00M, and open for discussion.
+ Assists in the development and implementation of new methods and procedures.
+ Conduct in-depth Non-Conforming Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
+ Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
+ Assist engineers for projects, test jobs and short-term containment actions.
+ Ensure all quality techs following NC procedure and supervise parts taken out from NC cage.
+ Provide training to less experienced Romer Technicians (if required).
+ Required to perform lab testing activities (if required).
+ Provide coverage to Romer table in absence of Quality Technician
+ Assist in conducting SLP inspections for newly launched products.
+ Managing Wire Routing & Drain Plugs Reference Sheets on all the final Mfg. lines.
+ Keep work area safe and clean (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
**Compensation:**
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
