Position Overview:

The Quality Inspector II is a vital member of our quality assurance team, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products and processes. This role involves performing critical non-routine inspections and tests on a diverse range of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies, and materials. The Quality Inspector 2 operates independently, handling complex inspection processes that require specialized setups and the interpretation of test data from multiple sources.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials. Works independently to perform complex and critical inspection processes, requiring special set-ups of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources. May conduct first article inspection of parts and assemblies. Prepares and approves inspection reports, charts, and records regarding quality measures, conformance status, and quantity of material processed. May lead root cause evaluations and corrective actions utilizing quality tools. Prepares charts and simple statistical analysis. May place orders of consumables and small tools for department use May be assigned to ensure designated area meets 6S standards and to submit equipment maintenance requests" Validation of Purchased products. May required to perform source Inspection at local Vendors.

To thrive in this role, you have:

3+ years in a similar role High school diploma (or GED) Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Individuals must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.

The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
