Our company is dedicated to the design, manufacture, and support of the world’s most efficient commercial HVAC compressors. This is a year-round internship, on-site at our facility in Tallahassee, FL. Relocation and housing assistance will not be provided. **Job Responsibilities** This position will support the Manufacturing Quality group in documenting and directing many aspects of the Quality Department. **Functions will include:** • Process standardization between global plants. • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality systems for process standardization. • Support for new Line Qualification by data collection, Analysis and presenting the results. • Analyze processes and systems to ensure the most efficient use of resources and data. • Support with the implementation of basic statistical analysis tools to evaluate data from Machining, and production lines. • Maintaining updated information on the KPI site for the Department • Document and improve Inspection plans. • Coordinate containment activities including third-party notification and setup on production supplier quality issues. • Assist in driving root cause and corrective action on quality issues at the customer end, production floor, and Suppliers. **Background & Skills** **Required Qualifications** + Working toward bachelors or master’s in engineering **Preferred Qualifications** + Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook). + SAP experience preferred **Job Criteria** + Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. + Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment are required At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
