Job Description

Agriculture 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Assist with equipment maintenance such as, maintaining equipment log, troubleshooting, accuracy checks, calibration recordsAssist the quality team on identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing quality stepsPerform investigations and provide input on corrective actions during non-conforming workAssist with scheduling safety training, drills, respirator maintenance, and fit testing as a back-upAssist departments and oversee quarterly preventive maintenance and cleaningAssist with supply receiving, ordering and inventoryDepartmental spot checks and audits assisting the quality teamDraft work instructions and help with document changes Comply with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 quality standards.Follow company policy and meet established procedures regarding bio-security, animal welfare, safety, ISO requirements, and drug/alcohol policy.May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by Supervisor.

Work Experience
Previous lab experience preferred but not required based on department assigned.

Specific Training:

Basic computer knowledge including creating documents and spreadsheetsExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsEffective time management and ability to prioritize objectives.Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision; dependability

Personal Qualities:

Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to accomplish daily and weekly goals as well as deal with changing testing needs requested by supervisors or the veterinarian.
