Job Title: Quality Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence through meticulous testing and quality control processes. Your responsibilities include:

Accurately following batch tickets (formulas) to measure weights and ingredients with precision.Conducting a wide range of complex tests on production batches to evaluate their physical and chemical properties, with a primary focus on color matching using a spectrophotometer.Testing materials from suppliers and production batches to ensure compliance with quality standards.Executing standard testing procedures with a strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.Following daily work plans and documenting all lab activities meticulously in lab notebooks.Identifying and resolving any roadblocks or anomalies in testing processes.Ensuring all raw materials are correctly labeled and organized.Tinting batches independently and calculating resin composites accurately.Maintaining quality control records using a web-based system and preparing documentation for submission.Performing various tests on lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Job Type:

Contract-to-Hire position (12 months)

Work Site:

Fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.

Work Environment:

Industrial lab setting within the plant. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, including a lab coat and safety glasses. On your first day, you will need to acquire steel-toed boots/shoes, which will be reimbursed. Please note that the facility has strong chemical and paint odors, so candidates must not be sensitive to these. The lab environment is spacious, with at least five team members present on each shift.

$25/HR

Second and Third Shift

-2nd shift M-F 2pm-10:30pm

-3rd shift M-F 10pm-6:30am
