Quality Loss Elimination Engineer

Ecolab is looking for a Quality Loss Elimination Engineer for Europe, reporting to the Systems and Quality Operations Manager for Europe and to lead our Quality loss elimination program.

The Quality Loss Elimination Engineer is responsible for identifying, analysing, and eliminating quality losses in the manufacturing process. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the highest standards of product quality.

What You Will Do:

Identify Quality Losses: Analyse processes to identify areas of quality loss in our supply chain and prioritize improvement opportunities.Loss Elimination Program: Develop and implement Quality loss Elimination plans to eliminate non valued added activities while assuring product quality and collaborate with RDE and process engineering team to ensure Defect elimination by design.Sustainability. Collaborate with Ecolab Sustainability team to enable the achievement of our sustainability goals.Suppliers Management. Support our Supplier Quality team with close collaboration with Procurement team to eliminate losses linked to our suppliers and raw materialsRoot Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of quality issues utilizing adequate problem-solving toolsTPM PQ Pillar. As SME will support the activities of PQ Pillar in the regionDocumentation: Provide the tools and create our knowledge database to maintain accurate records of quality issues and Q-factors to prevent recurrenceTraining and Development: Provide training and support on improvement techniques and best practices.Reporting: Prepare and present reports on quality performance and improvement activities to management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management methodologiesProficiency in quality improvement tools and methodologies.Proficiency in EnglishBusiness mindset to prioritise loss elimination initiatives in line with the business strategyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsInfluencing skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
