The Quality Management Specialist – Manufacturing Professional will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Tucker Power Lab integrated management system (IMS). This individual will work with multiple cross-functional areas including Operations, Security, EHS, Facilities, Engineering, and other functional areas to promote engagement and support of IMS targets, safety and health culture and regulatory compliance. The QMS Professional is responsible for quality compliance and adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards along with UL Data acceptance Program (DAP) in all the Lab processes. They will oversee that all processing follows strict regulations to prevent issues. They possess strong verbal and written abilities to coordinate quality control activities. They interact well with other coordinators in a team environment to share important ISO and UL related information and reach all crucial objectives within a given timeframe.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
Manage routine Integrated Management system (IMS) performance reviews within overall business processes. Plan, develop, promote, advise, implement and assess processes to assure conformance to all applicable standards. Responsible to acquire or sustain Test Lab certifications in ISO 90001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, UL DAP and ANCE. Train personnel in the requirements of ISO and customer quality systems. Manage the Internal Audit Scheduling and internal auditing program. Work with internal auditors to ensure productive internal quality audits. Develop and implement system changes as required to comply with changing ISO requirements. Follow up on all ISO non-conformance corrective actions. Responsible for verifying implementation of corrective actions according to schedule. Follow up preventive action for effectiveness. Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills. Work with stakeholders to identify, implement and adopt process improvements.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or environmental science. Two (2) plus years’ of experience working in Quality, Manufacturing or testing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and/or job specification documentation. Excellent PC skills, to include the ability to learn new programs. Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Analytical thinking combined with conceptual and organizational abilities. Team oriented personality who can work well by themselves or on a team in an international environment. Proactive at executing daily tasks and achieving long-term goals. Experience in ISO and Quality Management Systems (QMS). Experience in Quality System certification. Knowledge of UL DAP, CSA and ANCE standards.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. The pay range for this position is $ $60,340 - $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
