Introduction

 

We are seeking a Quality Manager - Services Operations to join our Quality team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products meet the company’s quality standards and contract regulations. which involves following the planning and development of product quality control policies. In this position, you will report to the Director of Repairs Operations.

 

This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ and involves up to 20% of travel to third party repair shops.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, including Product Line Quality and Engineering. The members in our team are in Arizona.
 
 
 

What you’ll do:
 

Lead Quality Management Initiatives: Establish and implement a Quality Management System for our USA repair facilities, steering the team toward ISO-9001 compliance and certification. Set Quality Standards: Create and enforce local quality standards, procedures, and policies to enhance our repair business. Manage a Dedicated Team: Oversee the Mesa quality team and ensure quality standards are upheld at third-party vendors. Provide Continuous Improvement: Leverage your expertise in quality procedures to collaborate with product lines, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating the cost of non-quality within the repair center. Train and Develop: Mentor team members on quality requirements, procedures, and document control to create a culture of standards. Data-Driven Insights: Collect and analyze quality data to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Maintain Audit Compliance: Actively oversee Quality Management System tasks to sustain adherence to audit standards. Collaborate on Customer Proposals: Support the proposal team by identifying customer needs and requirements. Optimize Processes: Work with Engineering and Purchasing to enhance design, cost efficiency, and supply chain optimization.

 

 

Who you are:
 

Educational Background: You hold an Engineering or Business Degree (or have equivalent experience). Industry Experience: You bring knowledge from a similar industry and have relevant product knowledge. Quality Certifications: You are certified in ISO-9001 QMS and are a certified lead auditor for ISO. Current or past AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials are highly desirable. Regulatory Insight: You have experience with regulatory compliance and auditing processes. Strategic Thinker: Your experience includes strategic planning, business management, data analysis, and performance metrics.
