The primary function of the Quality Manager is to perform inspections of products and record quality results and when applicable, oversee Inspectors performing the same. \nResponsibilities and Duties\n\nDetermine that all technical data on all articles maintained or altered by the Repair Station are secured and kept current with latest revisions. This data will include Repair Station process specification on limited rating specialized services, manufacturer's maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, part specifications FAA airworthiness directives, related FAA data, and other technical data used by the Repair Station.\nPerforms inspection of aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government (both FAA and NAVAIR) and company standards and specifications\nInspects the installation, repair and operation of electrical wiring, electronic systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft\nInspects adjustments, structural and electrical repairs or modifications made on the aircraft in accordance with applicable aircraft maintenance Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO's, work orders, work cards, aircraft structural repair manuals and modifications\nMaintain the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and Training Manual\nPerform Receiving Inspections on all incoming raw materials and purchased parts\nPerform machined parts inspections, weld inspections, and electrical inspections\nProficient in blueprint reading \/ interpretation and shop mathematics\n\n

Competencies\n\nMust possess 5-10 years' experience in corporate aviation as an A&P mechanic.\nCustomer focus-naturally outgoing\/extroverted\n\n\nMust be able to work in and around confined spaces such as fuel tanks\nAble to use inspection measuring devices as well as the use of mirror and flashlight to accomplish inspections\nMust be able to climb, kneel, stoop and stand to accomplish inspections\n\n\nMust be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products\nBasic mathematical knowledge\nBi-linqual plus\nResults driven\nStrong time management skills\n\n
Reporting Relationship\n
This position reports to the Maintenance Director.\n
Work Environment\n
This position works inside a hangar and outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. \n

Required Education and Experience\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED and 10 years minimum experience in the aviation industry\nPossess an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license\nInspection Authorization (IA) Certificate preferred\nWorking knowledge of AS9100 and AS9110 Quality Management System standards\nWorking knowledge of FOD & Tool Control, Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO's, FAA FARs and Aircraft Maintenance Information Systems\nAble to use inspection measuring devices as well as the use of mirror and flashlight to accomplish inspections\nMust be able to climb, kneel, stoop and stand to accomplish inspections\nMust be able to work flexible and extended hours\n\n
